Screening for Plagiarism

Screening for Plagiarism

Articles submitted to the Journal of Educational Innovation UHAFIZ will be screened using Crossref or Turnitin software, with a maximum similarity threshold of 25%.

Plagiarism includes the following:

1. Word-for-word plagiarism

Borrowing another author's language verbatim without using quotation marks or providing proper citation.

2. Source plagiarism

Using the ideas or concepts of others without giving proper recognition or citing the original source clearly.

3. Plagiarism of authorship

Presenting another author's work as one’s own.

4. Self-plagiarism

When authors publish the same article in more than one journal by recycling previously written work. Significant changes must be made in the new article, and the previous article should only comprise a small portion of the new manuscript, ensuring that readers receive genuinely new information.
