Screening for Plagiarism
All manuscripts submitted to INDUSTRIA: Journal of Industrial Engineering UHAFIZ will be screened for plagiarism using reliable similarity detection software such as Turnitin or other equivalent tools integrated with Crossref. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%.
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the following practices:
- Verbatim (word-for-word) plagiarism
Copying text directly from another author’s work without quotation marks or proper citation. - Source plagiarism
Using ideas, data, models, figures, or concepts from other sources without appropriate acknowledgment or clear citation. - Authorship plagiarism
Presenting another author’s work, in whole or in part, as one’s own. - Self-plagiarism
Republishing substantially similar content from one’s own previously published work without proper citation or justification. Any reused content must be limited, clearly cited, and accompanied by significant new analysis or findings to ensure the manuscript provides original contributions to the field of industrial engineering.
