Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to INDUSTRIA: Journal of Industrial Engineering UHAFIZ must be in accordance with the journal’s Focus and Scope and comply with the Author Guidelines. The journal prioritizes originality, scientific rigor, and contributions to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the field of Industrial Engineering.

Manuscripts are expected to present novel research findings, innovative methodologies, or significant applications related to industrial systems, operations, manufacturing, logistics, human factors, quality management, decision-making, and industrial sustainability.

Authors are required to comply with ethical standards related to research activities, particularly studies involving human subjects, workplace observations, ergonomic assessments, surveys, or experiments that may affect physical or psychological conditions. Research involving such aspects must be supported by an Ethical Clearance or an equivalent ethical approval statement.

All manuscripts must be prepared according to scientific journal writing standards. Citation and referencing must follow the APA Citation Style. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero.

Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian. Submissions must demonstrate proper academic writing. Manuscripts written in Indonesian that are accepted must be translated into English and undergo professional proofreading.

All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25% based on the Turnitin™ report.

This journal applies a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. The final decision rests with the Editor in Chief.

The publication schedule of accepted manuscripts is determined by the Editor in Chief based on the acceptance date, thematic relevance, and journal issue planning.
